PM: Camite was ruled out; all substances in powder to be identified and findings publicly shared

“Minister of Internal Affairs takes responsibility for the correct information, claiming that camite was not used; this is true information. We must await the official investigation and its findings,” stated Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in response to a journalist’s question during a briefing at the government administration.

According to the Prime Minister, camite has been definitively ruled out, and the investigation will continue. Every substance contained within the powder will be identified, and the information will be made public.

“When the investigation concludes, detailed information will be disclosed to the public and the media. Regarding the specific claims made by Mr Geka Geladze, these are based on particular material. It is simpler to determine the presence or absence of a single substance in the powder than to study the full spectrum. Through appropriate procedures, it has already been established that the substance camite was not present in this powder. The investigation will provide further details about the entire spectrum of substances involved, which will be shared openly with the public and the media.

Camite has been definitively ruled out; the investigation will proceed, and all substances contained in the powder will be identified. The State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs oversee the process. The Minister of Internal Affairs takes full responsibility for the uncontested fact that camite was not used. Let us await the official investigation and its findings,” Kobakhidze affirmed.
