PM, Armenian President discuss bilateral cooperation

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturian discussed bilateral cooperation related issues and good neighborly relations between Armenia and Georgia at the Government Administration.

The sides accentuated security issues in the world and the region. They focused South Caucasus Neighborhood Peace Initiative, initiated by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, that envisages the establishment of a dialogue format and mutually beneficial cooperation between the three countries. The President of Armenia thanked Irakli Gharibashvili for his contribution to the peace dialogue process.

Georgian PM and Armenian President spoke about the development of cooperation between the countries in the field of energy, transport communications and Black Sea security. It was noted that in the first quarter of 2022, trade turnover amounted to USD 170.49 million, an increase by 12% year-on-year.
