PM: Amid regional tensions, true stability is a demonstration of strong institutions, predictable policies, and commitment to peace

“Amid regional tensions, true stability is not only the absence of conflicts but a demonstration of strong institutions, predictable policies, and commitment to peace,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, addressing the World Government Summit 2026.

Irakli Kobakhidze remarked that in the epoch of polarization, diplomatic abilities are no less significant: Skills to maintain constructive relations beyond political and strategic differences have become an economic advantage.

“A well-developed infrastructure must correspond to institutional and diplomatic foundation: Modernized highways, ports and railway, which should ensure not only rapid but also reliable and predictable movement of goods. Georgia’s significance is not only determined by its location, but also by what it has done with that location,” he said.
