Patriarch of Jerusalem and All Palestine hosts Education Minister

His Beatitude Theophilos III, the Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem and All Palestine, hosted Georgian Minister of Education and Science Givi Mikanade.

During the meeting, the Minister expressed gratitude for the support that the Patriarchate of Jerusalem provides to the Georgian diaspora living in Israel. He emphasized the need for joint efforts to strengthen and develop the Orthodox faith.

The significance of peace in the world and the special role of the Church in this direction were accentuated, as well as the historical ties that have existed between the Georgian Church and the Patriarchate of Jerusalem for centuries.

His Beatitude Theophilos III blessed Givi Mikanadze and members of the Georgian delegation, and wished them success.
