I would like to appeal to the future government and the opposition to cooperate and listen to each other – Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, said after casting a vote.

The patriarch voted through a portable ballot box. “I appeal to all Georgia to go to the polls. Hopefully this election will bring the good. I want to appeal to the future government and the opposition to cooperate, to listen to each other. I am hopeful of the future. God bless Georgia and the whole world,” Ilia II said.

The 2020 Parliamentary Elections are being held in Georgia today.
