On part of families with many children to receive subsidy for electricity

On part of the families with many children will receive a subsidy for electricity consumption from the government starting January of 2019 – the order is published on the web-page of Legislative Messenger.

The person, who has the status of a parent having many children and who has 4 children under 18 will receive 20-GEL subsidy every month.

The family should be registered in the united database of socially vulnerable families and has to be assigned less than 300 000 rating points.

Based on the data of GeoStat, Statistics National Service, there are about 12 400 families with 4 or more children. The government will spend about 3.5 million GEL on electricity subsidy of the families of this category.
