Parliamentary majority accuses opposition of stirring unrest

“Unfortunately, the representatives of the radical opposition came out of Shalva Natelashvili’s bower as anarchists,” stated Mamuka Mdinaradze, Chairman of the Georgian Dream faction on Monday.

“It is alarming that the opposition calls for public confrontation. Fortunately, the opposition is not able to organize anything. At the same time, the state functions properly. It will ensure public order and not allow anyone to challenge the law,” Mdinaradze said.

He noted that the opposition has the wrong perception of the actual situation in the country.

“It is impossible to carry out any activity with fabricated arguments amid severe pandemic and under occupation. It is immoral to hit your country with fabricated arguments and fabricated political persecution at such a hard time,” Mdinaradze added.
