Parliament to debate Amnesty Law and Family Values Protection bill this week
The Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili announced that the main issues for the current session week include the second reading of the Amnesty Law and the Law on Family Values and Protection of Minors.
Additionally, the selection of a Supreme Court judge is also on the agenda.
Papuashvili noted that there will be an accelerated bill to consider, which will occupy the parliamentary sessions on Wednesday and Thursday.
“Tomorrow, there will be political announcements, likely without any votes. On Wednesday, we will discuss and vote on the accelerated bill, with one vote scheduled for Wednesday and two for Thursday. Additionally, an Open Platform has been announced,” Papuashvili stated.
