Parliament Speaker: When world falls apart, remember, Georgians endure, rise, and carry on with dignity
“When you feel that the world has fallen apart, remember that you are Georgian. Our history has been shaped in such times, in periods of chaos, great upheaval, and uncertainty,” writes Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, on social media.
“We have borne witness to wars, cataclysms, and eras when everything seemed to collapse, only to be rebuilt anew. However, one thing has remained unchanged: Georgians have always possessed the strength to safeguard their homeland, their dignity, and their heritage, even in the most trying times.
So, when you believe the world has fallen apart, remember that we are a people capable of weathering storms, rising again, and continuing our path with dignity,” concludes Papuashvili.
