“A parliamentary delegation headed by Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili is set to undertake official visits to Belgium and Luxembourg,” said Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze.

Samkharadze confirmed that the visit will feature a series of bilateral meetings with European counterparts.

“You will recall that Levan Makhashvili and I recently conducted a parliamentary visit to Belgium and Luxembourg. During that trip, we planned an official visit for the Speaker of Parliament to both nations. This is a valuable opportunity to brief Belgian and Luxembourgish parliamentarians on our current challenges and concerns regarding EU relations.

Naturally, we will listen to their perspectives and articulate our nation’s strategic vision. I view such a visit as crucial; it allows us to ensure our voice and stance are clearly heard by our European colleagues. This is distinct from Kaja Kallas, whom you asked me about regarding why they refuse to speak with us simply because they dislike the Georgian government. We will be meeting directly with the leadership of Belgium and Luxembourg,” Nikoloz Samkharadze stated.
