Parliament Speaker meets Armenian Security Council Secretary

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met the Secretary of the Armenian Security Council, Armen Grigoryan.

Shalva Papuashvili described on Facebook that the meeting was “prolific” and the parties discussed regional development with the Secretary of the Armenian Security Council, stressing the significance of reaching a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

He pledged Georgia would “always be ready to contribute to the regional peace.”

Armen Grigoryan congratulated Georgia on the European Commission’s positive decision to recommend granting the country EU candidate status.
