Parliament Speaker – Constitutional amendments have enough votes to be approved

Constitutional amendments have enough and more than enough votes at present to be approved. The approval needs 113 votes out of which 92 are votes of the parliamentary majority. The amendments are also backed by Conservatives, Independent MPs and Patriots’ Alliance. This is 117 votes in total – Archil Talakvadze, Parliament Speaker said in live air of Rustavi 2 TV Company.

Talakvadze talked about the importance of Constitutional Amendments and voting process. He said that the project was not supported by National Movement and European Georgia parties.

The 2020 parliamentary elections will be held in 120/30 model in Georgia in autumn.
