Lawmakers will express confidence to the new membership of the government and governmental program during the plenary session today.
Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze will first address the parliament. MPs will have the opportunity to ask him questions. Representatives of majority and minority factions will then take the floor. The government will need 76 votes of MPs to be approved.
Lawmakers listened to ministerial candidates on July 13. There are three new ministers in the Cabinet: Mikheil Batiashvili is presented for post of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Giorgi Kobulia – Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Ivane Machavariani – Finance Minister.
