PABSEC Greek Delegation Head: We are delighted that Georgia ascends as Chair of PABSEC family

“I arrived in Georgia a few months ago and witnessed significant progress. We are all delighted that Georgia is stepping into the role of Chair within the PABSEC family,” said Sofia Voultepsi, Head of the Greek Parliamentary Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organisation (PABSEC), in Sofia, Bulgaria.

According to her, in a world beset by numerous conflicts, organisations like the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation are more vital than ever, a parliamentary team committed to working towards peace and prosperity for all.

“I have served in the Greek Parliament for over twenty years. I have visited Georgia several times, and when I finally arrived in your country a few months ago, I saw remarkable progress. We are all pleased that Georgia is now taking on the chairmanship of our PABSEC family.

We trust that our Georgian colleagues will continue to champion peace and prosperity amidst a very turbulent global landscape, where more than 200 conflicts are ongoing. In such a world, organisations like the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation are essential, a dedicated parliamentary team working tirelessly for the peace and well-being of our peoples,” Sofia Voultepsi concluded.
