Out of 2 775 new coronavirus cases, 1 044 were revealed in Tbilisi, 526 – Imereti, 503-Adjara – Aleksandre Khojevanishvili, Head of the Task Force operating at the Inter-Agency Coordination Council stated at a briefing held at the government administration.

Other cases are distributed to different regions of Georgia: Kvemo Kartli -207, Shida Kartli – 177, Guria – 89, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 117, Kakheti-36, Mtskheta-Mtianeti-43, Samtskhe-Javakheti- 25, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti-8.

Georgia has reported 2 775 new coronavirus cases today bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 51 993.

The 3 560 more patients recovered from the virus. The number of recovered patients reached 37 019.

Twenty-two patients died of COVID-19 in Georgia in the last 24 hours. The death toll stands at 423 in the country.
