Out of the 8 newly revealed COVID-19 cases, three are from quarantine spaces, 5 represent contacts of already confirmed cases – said Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

According to Ezugbaia, 23 infected with COVID-19 patients remain placed at the hospital. The health condition of the university entrant, who was confirmed with coronavirus on July 10, is satisfactory.

Eight new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected persons to 981.
