Out of 8 new COVID-19 cases reported in Georgia, 4 – revealed in Batumi
Out of 8 new COVID-19 cases reported in Georgia, 4 were revealed in Batumi. A total of 608 samples were taken for testing in Adjara region during the last 24 hours.
According to Adjara Health Ministry, 2 cases represent contacts of the already confirmed cases revealed in Kobuleti, 2 are imported and are truck drivers (one is a citizen of Georgia, the other –Turkey).
The 32 patients infected with coronavirus continue treatment at Batumi Republican Hospital. One patient from Kutaisi returned to the home city for continuation of medical treatment.
Georgia has reported 8 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 1 429, according to stopcov.ge, a special webpage created by the Georgian government.
Thirteen more patients recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of recovered people to 1150.
