Out of 187 new COVID-19 cases reported in Georgia, 116 are linked to Adjara region – said Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

According to Ezugbaia, 30 cases are from Tbilisi, 15 – Imereti, 11- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, 4-Guria, and 3 from Kakheti region. Also, 3 cases are connected to Shida Kartli region, 2 – Kvemo Kartli, 2 – Mtskheta-Mtianeti, and 1 – Samtskhe-Javakheti. The rate of recoveries stands at 45%.

Georgia has reported 187 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 3 306, according to stopcov.ge, a special webpage created by the Georgian government.

Forty-six patients have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of recoveries to 1 481.
