Opposition representatives are holding a protest rally in Batumi town, Adjara region. Protesters marched from various locations near the Drama Theater building. Protesters are demanding holding re-elections and changing election administration.
“This is a peaceful rally, this rally does not call for the resignation of anyone, we demand fair elections, the return of our stolen votes and stolen freedom,” said Mirdat Kamadadze, a member of the United National Movement.
In parallel with the parliamentary elections, elections to the Supreme Council were held. Only the National Movement from the opposition has crossed the threshold in the Supreme Council elections, but they are refusing their mandates and are demanding re-elections to the Supreme Council as well.
