One more house belonging to the family of Fridon Tsindeliani collapsed in Chuberi village of Svaneti region as result of the Nenskra River’s flooding. The family managed to take out part of their belongings with help of neighbors and rescuers.
It is raining heavily in Chiberi. The water level has risen in the river. Fortification works of the riverbed are ongoing.
Representatives of Technical Group of EnergoPro Georgia are also working to restore electricity supply to subscribers. A coordination council is established.
Specialists of National Environment Agency studied the current situation in Chuberi, Svaneti region. Merab Gaprindashvili, Head of Geology Department of the Agency told First Channel that reoccurrence of the natural disaster in Chuberi was ruled out.
