Official welcome ceremony for Croatian President Zoran Milanović at Georgia’s Presidential Palace [Photo]
An official welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, took place at the Presidential Palace of Georgia.
Georgia’s President Mikheil Kavelashvili hosted President Milanović. During the ceremony, the national anthems of both countries were performed, and the leaders introduced one another to members of their respective delegations.
As part of his official visit, President Kavelashvili and President Milanović are scheduled to hold bilateral meetings at the Presidential Palace, both in a one-on-one setting and in an expanded format. A joint statement will follow to the media afterwards.
President Milanović visited Georgia, accompanied by a delegation comprising Bartol Šimunić, Head of the Cabinet of the Croatian President, Neven Pelićarić, Advisor to the President on Foreign and European Affairs, Velibor Mačkić, Special Advisor for Economic Matters, Branko Zebić, Croatia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia, and representatives of the President’s administration.
