Office of State Minister: Occupation regime's uncaring attitude claimed life of another person
According to the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, an uncaring attitude of the occupation regime claimed a life of another person.
The State Ministry extends its condolences to the family of the deceased Onise Gatenashvili.
As the Ministry said, on November 14, with the involvement of the Red Cross, Onise Gatenashvili, a resident of occupied Akhalgori died while an ambulance crew was transporting him to the clinic.
“Occupied Akhalgori has been closed for more than a year. The abolition of so-called checkpoints has already claimed the lives of 16 people. The occupiers do not allow citizens to enter Georgian-controlled territory which restricts their access to critical health services. We call on international organizations and partners to increase pressure on the occupation regime,” stressed Office of State Minister.
