Nika Melia’s case sent to prosecutor’s office for non-attendance of investigative commission meeting

The case of Nika Melia, one of the leaders of the Ahali party, has been sent to the Prosecutor’s Office due to his failure to attend a meeting of the parliamentary interim fact-finding commission studying the activities of the government from 2003 to 2012.

Tea Tsulukiani, the chairperson of the commission, put the issue before a vote, and the commission members voted in favour.
