A New Year village in Tbilisi will be open till January 14, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced live on Facebook.
According to Kakha Kaladze, the venue was initially to function till January 7 but its working was extended “due to numerous requests from locals.”
The New Year Village is located across Orbeliani Square, April 9 Garden, in the area of the Dry Bridge, and Dedaena Park. It will host visitors with different activities.
“The tradition of New Year Village started in 20217 when we created a special space which is becoming larger every year. This year, our New Year Village is especially beautiful. Many people visit the place, both residents of Tbilisi and guests of the capital – tourists. We have a diverse program, an ice ring. Everyone will have the opportunity to come with children, and grandchildren, and enjoy different shows and activities,” Kaladze said.
Tbilisi Mayor wished the populate Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
