New Sports Complex to be built in Didi Lilo village, Samgori district
A new sports facility is set to be constructed in the Samgori district, covering approximately one hectare. As Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced today during the city government session, the project will be realised in Didi Lilo village, at Archil Mepe Street No. 5, and will feature a football pitch alongside a padel court.
“The artificial turf football pitch will be equipped with a spectator stand designed to accommodate 120 spectators, including accessible seating for people with disabilities. The site will also include changing rooms with showers, built to modern standards. As for the padel court, it will occupy an area of 200 square metres. Additionally, the plan includes a training zone and a running track, with the remaining space dedicated to recreation,” the Tbilisi Mayor explained.
Kaladze further noted that construction is set to commence this year, with the project scheduled for completion by the end of November 2026.
