New national liberation movement begins, Mamuka Khazaradze says

“A new national liberation movement is beginning. Let us defend our freedom and future,” Mamuka Khazaradze, a member of the Strong Georgia opposition party wrote on his Facebook page after Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced a decision not to place the issue of opening accession negotiations with the EU on the agenda until the end of 2028.

“We will also reject any budgetary grants from the EU until that time. By the end of 2028, Georgia will be economically ready to initiate negotiations for EU membership in 2030,” the PM said earlier today.
