Netherlands Ambassador urges all parties to work together for EC's 12 priorities' implementation
Ambassador of Netherlands to Georgia, Maaike van Koldam, urged all parties to unite, work together, and overcome differences and polarization for the EC’s 12-point priorities’ fulfilment.
At the presentation of the research on the topic “Challenges facing women coordinators in elections,” the Ambassador said Georgia’s had to align with EU foreign policy issues.
“When it comes to the candidate status, everyone knows that there are 12 priorities. There is still a chance; they need to be implemented fully. Some of the topics today, like gender equality and the inclusiveness of civil society in the decision-making process, are within these 12 priorities. So, I really urge all parties concerned to do their utmost to fulfil them, to work together, to team up, to overcome differences, to overcome polarization to fulfil the 12 priorities,” she said.
