NBG President participates in Reykjavík Economic Conference

President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), Natia Turnava participates in the Reykjavík Economic Conference 2025, on 8-9 May, which is an annual event organized by the Central Bank of Iceland in collaboration with the Cen­ter for In­ter­na­tional Mac­roe­co­nom­ics at North­west­ern Uni­versity.

The Reyk­javík Eco­nomic Con­fer­ence brings to­gether dis­tin­guished aca­dem­ics and poli­cy­makers to en­gage in 2-day dis­cus­sions and the shar­ing of in­sights on mac­roe­co­nomic ana­lysis and policy chal­lenges and the evolving role of cent­ral banks in today’s land­scape.

The participants include the Pres­id­ent of the Fed­eral Re­serve Bank of New York, John C. Wil­li­ams; Governor  of the Cent­ral Bank of Ice­land, Ás­geir Jóns­son; and Presidents and Vice-Presidents of Central Banks of Montenegro, China, Denmark, and EU countries.

Natia Turnava will take part in the panel discussion “Financial stability and rate reduction cycle” within the framework of the international conference.
