President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), Natia Turnava participates in the Reykjavík Economic Conference 2025, on 8-9 May, which is an annual event organized by the Central Bank of Iceland in collaboration with the Center for International Macroeconomics at Northwestern University.
The Reykjavík Economic Conference brings together distinguished academics and policymakers to engage in 2-day discussions and the sharing of insights on macroeconomic analysis and policy challenges and the evolving role of central banks in today’s landscape.
The participants include the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, John C. Williams; Governor of the Central Bank of Iceland, Ásgeir Jónsson; and Presidents and Vice-Presidents of Central Banks of Montenegro, China, Denmark, and EU countries.
Natia Turnava will take part in the panel discussion “Financial stability and rate reduction cycle” within the framework of the international conference.
