NBG President participates in BSTDB Board of Governors 27th meeting

President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), Natia Turnava participated in the 27th meeting of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) in Yerevan, Armenia.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and BSTDB President Serhat Köksal addressed the participants with welcoming speeches.

Natia Turnava spoke about geopolitical challenges facing the bank, which “mostly depended on regional developments” and praised the shareholders’ responsibility in managing the processes with “commitment and caution.”

A business forum was held within the framework of the BSTDB 27th meeting of the Board of Governors. President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan opened the forum.

The discussion focused on supporting sustainability for small economies in the Black Sea region and sharing views and experiences within the framework of partnership with BSTDB.

The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), an international financial institution with headquarters in Thessaloniki, Greece, was established by Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Türkiye, and Ukraine.
