Within the framework of the annual spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB), the President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), Natia Turnava and NBG Vice President Ekaterine Galdava met the President of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Timur Suleimenov.
According to the NBG, the meeting participants focused on the sustainability of financial systems and cooperation between the National Banks of Georgia and Kazakhstan. They reviewed the 2025-2026 Cooperation Memorandum’s roadmap, aiming to share the best practices in financial technologies, tax systems, regulation of virtual assets service providers, monetary policy, capital markets, risk management and other issues.
On his part, the President of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Timur Suleimenov, spoke about the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and expressed readiness for a more productive and effective partnership.
