NBG Acting President to participate in Silk Road Forum

Acting President of the National Bank, Natia Turnava will participate in the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum on October 26-27, where she will serve as the key speaker in the panel discussion – Future of Fintech in Growing Economy.

BBC World News anchor Aaron Heslehurst will moderate the panel discussion.

“Digital technologies in shaping the future have a pivotal role. The acceleration of development and economic growth, improved connectivity among people, and efficient resource utilization are outcomes of the digitization of services and products, even within the traditional banking sector,” Natia Turnava said.

Georgia hosts the fourth Tbilisi Silk Road Forum. It is a two-day platform serving as a significant opportunity to enhance economic, political, and cultural connections between Asia and Europe. More than 2,000 delegates from 60 countries will take part in the international forum.
