Acting President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), Natia Turnava, met with the Royal Mint Regional Director of Sales, Simon Lakes within the framework of the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Marrakesh.
According to the NBG press office, the meeting focused on partnership relations between the Royal Mint UK and the National Bank of Georgia. The parties expressed their desire to continue future cooperation.
“The Royal Mint is our long-term partner in coin production. We agreed that the cooperation will continue,” said Natia Turnava.
In different years, The Royal Mint produced 2 GEL, 1 GEL, and 50 Tetri coins, as well as 10 GEL jubilee coins commemorating Christ’s birth and 3000 years of statehood.
