NBG Acting President hosts British Ambassador

Acting President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), Natia Turnava, on Wednesday, hosted the British Ambassador to Georgia, Mark Clayton.

According to the NBG press office, the meeting covered Georgia’s macroeconomic trends. The parties underscored the importance of close cooperation between the National Bank and the Bank of England.

They also discussed the enforcement of financial sanctions imposed by the US, Great Britain and the European Union against Russia.

Turnava noted that “the NBG steps are in full compliance with international sanctions.”
