NBG Acting President hosts Tajikistan's National Bank Governor

Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, met Hokim Kholiqzoda, Governor of the National Bank of Tajikistan, as part of the B2B meetings of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.

According to the NBG’s press office, the parties discussed the 10-year path of cooperation between the national banks of Georgia and the Republic of Tajikistan and prospects for future cooperation. It was decided at the meeting that a memorandum on cooperation between the Central Bank of Georgia and Tajikistan will be signed in the near future.

It should be noted that representatives of the Central Bank of Tajikistan often visited the National Bank of Georgia in order to learn about the successful reforms of the NBG and share their experiences.
