NATO Military Committee meeting convened at NATO HQ in Brussels, with Georgia’s defence forces participation

The NATO Military Committee convened at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, with Georgia participating at the level of defence forces commanders.

According to the Georgian Ministry of Defence, the meeting was attended by a delegation of the Georgian Defence Forces, led by Lieutenant General Giorgi Matiashvili.

“The meeting, held within the NATO-Georgia framework, addressed key areas of military cooperation with NATO, reviewed the outcomes of ongoing collaborations, and discussed future plans. As part of the visit, Lieutenant General Giorgi Matiashvili held bilateral meetings with the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, as well as with the commanders of the defence forces of Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, and Türkiye,” the Georgian Ministry of Defence stated.
