National Food Agency issues recommendations

The National Food Agency issues recommendations regarding the hot summer season and calls for caution when buying food products.
According to the head of the Tbilisi City Service Vasil Basiladze, it is important to pay special attention to the terms of the meat or milk products and their storage conditions.
According to him, starting from September 1, 2018, a new decree enters into force which obliges manufacturers to indicate food label clearly. In case of violations, citizen can phone to the agency’s hot line – 15-01.
