National Food Agency announces near-complete withdrawal of certain Picot baby food batches

The National Food Agency has reported that specific batches of Picot infant nutrition have been almost entirely withdrawn from circulation.

According to the agency, relevant departments are supervising the recall of certain imported Picot baby food batches across Georgia.

“The identified batches are: Picot 1 400G – 8000003312; Picot 1 800G – 8000003297; Picot 2 800G – 8000003280.

Inspection teams from the agency have examined these batches in both pharmacy chains and wholesale and retail outlets.

Any products from the specified batches of Picot identified during inspections have been fully removed from the shelves and are subject to destruction,” the National Food Agency stated.

The agency urges consumers who have already purchased products from these batches not to use them.
Due to the potential risk posed by the toxin Cereulide, certain batches of Lactalis Nutrition Santé (LNS) Picot baby milk products have been recalled from the market.
