National Archives of Georgia joins IADA

The National Archives of Georgia has officially become a member of the International Association of Book and Paper Conservators (IADA).

This membership will enable Georgian specialists to learn about the world’s best practices, innovations, and new technologies in the restoration field, which they can then apply in their work.

Georgian conservators will also participate in international seminars, symposiums, and congresses.

The National Archives is dedicated to the restoration of ancient manuscripts, documents, photographs, books, posters, and other materials that contribute to the protection and preservation of the country’s cultural heritage.
