Narikala Fortress rehabilitation second stage commences

Tbilisi Development Fund will launch the second stage of rehabilitation works at Narikala Fortress, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced at the municipal government meeting.

According to the Mayor, the outer perimeter walls will be fortified and lighting systems installed.

“I am not going to speak about the importance of this monument for our city. It is one of the most beautiful places. Many tourists visit it, and now it needs rehabilitation,” he said.

The rehabilitation works are planned to be completed in June 2025.
