NAEC opens secondary enrollment window for university applicants from 14 to 18 September

“Prospective students can participate in secondary enrolment and choose their preferred degree courses from 11 am on 14 September until 6 pm on 18 September 2026,” the National Assessment and Examinations Centre (NAEC) has announced.

The Centre clarified that eligibility for the secondary enrollment phase is open to applicants who:

• Passed the minimum competence threshold for every subject in the 2026 Unified National Examinations, but were not granted a place in the primary round;
• Failed to meet the minimum competence threshold for higher-education degree programmes in the 2026 Unified National Examinations, but successfully met the threshold established for vocational education programmes.

Comprehensive details regarding available programmes and remaining vacant seats at higher education institutions and vocational colleges will be published in the updated online guide, Handbook for Applicants, on NAEC’s official website (www.naec.ge) on 11 September. The portal will also provide full instructions on the registration platform and programme selection.
