Muharrem Inge receives majority of votes at polling stations opened in Georgia
Muharrem Inge received majority of votes at polling stations opened in Georgia for the presidential elections in Turkey. Acting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received 36.22 % of votes, while oppositional candidate Muharrem Inge – 49.32%.
The oppositional Public Republican Party showed the best result in the parliamentary elections and received 37.2 %, while the ruling party – 28.7%.
Polling stations were opened at Embassy of Turkey in Tbilisi and at General Consulate in Batumi. The 590 voters out of 1799 registered ones cast their ballots. Two bulletins were declared as null and void.
Muharrem Inge showed better results in Russia, Ukraine, US and Iran. Recep Tayyip Erdogan won in Turkish Presidential elections. He received 52.6% of votes.
