“We have been discussing this for years, and we do not need validation from a U.S. Army colonel to recognise that we are dealing with an intelligence agency,” stated MP Tengiz Sharmanashvili, a member of the parliamentary majority.

He explained that they have been unable to establish and maintain a government under their control in Georgia, but they have succeeded in Ukraine.

“It is fortunate that the individual involved in this case admits this openly and shares it with us. This was another confirmation that we are indeed dealing with an intelligence agency. Even if he hadn’t explicitly said it, all the signs were there: the facts and evidence we have been discussing for years. The colonel describes how they spread false liberal democratic values to completely paralyse the current government in various countries and install forces under their absolute influence. Sadly, they have achieved this in Ukraine. If they had managed to do the same in Georgia, the country would now be devastated by war and economic collapse, with hundreds of thousands of refugees and many lives lost. This requires little proof; we can all see it clearly in Ukraine,” Sharmanashvili asserted.

Retired U.S. Army Colonel and former Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State (2001–2005), Lawrence Wilkerson, has spoken about “how the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) utilised the media and non-governmental organisations.”
