“What kind of radicalism and hate speech are they talking about? They blame others for the violence, but they themselves are deranged, violent radicals,” said Giorgi Sharashidze, MP from the Gakharia for Georgia party.

According to Sharashidze, Georgian Dream members are ready to attack any individual with different viewpoints. He went on to say that the GD members have “green light on violence” and turn aggressive when telling them the “bitter truth.”

Giorgi Sharashidze demands a legal response to the confrontation in Parliament today.

“They speak about manhood, but it is a sadistic rule against 89-12, isn’t it? This is a crime. We are going to demand legal action. We are not going to leave it like this. Everyone should be called by their name. We will see who is against whom and who started the violence. If they declare war and tell us who is stronger, we will know that we entered parliament for a fight instead of a political dispute, to express a different viewpoint. This is a regrettable reality,” he said.

A skirmish took place between the majority and opposition MPs as soon as Giorgi Sharashidze, MP from the Gakharia for Georgia party, completed his speech.
