“They can no longer operate freely in America, and it appears the centre of gravity has shifted to the European Union, where the Deep State is now attempting to advance its agenda from there,” stated MP Davit Matikashvili, Chairman of the Parliament’s Procedural Issues Committee.

Matikashvili was asked about a statement by MEP Kinga Gál, according to which “the European Commission is planning to allocate EUR 8.6 billion for funding civil society organisations under the AgoraEU programme, to fill the gap created by the suspension of USAID funding”.

“It appears the Deep State is continuing down the path that is well known to the public and has been absolutely exposed against the backdrop of USAID’s closure in the United States. It is evident how they have attempted, and continue to pursue their interests through so-called NGOs and the civil sector. Their aims include overthrowing democratically elected governments, organising revolutions, and promoting LGBT propaganda.
