MP Davit Matikashvili: Joe Wilson’s new dream mirrors past failures: illusory MEGOBARI Act and other false visions meet same fate

“It appears that Joe Wilson has once again fallen into a new dream; his previous illusion failed, and the so-called MEGOBARI Act was turned upside down. Now, he has embarked on another dream, attempting to harm Georgia with lies,” stated MP Davit Matikashvili, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Procedural Issues.

According to him, Joe Wilson’s dreams have yet to find credence in Georgia, and now they are met with scepticism in America as well.

“Whatever fate befell the MEGOBARI Act, the same destiny awaits other illusory visions. Joe Wilson is known to be financed by Kezerashvili. It seems they have sent him a message to inform their agency, the fifth column within Georgia, that he should not worry, as they are supporting him,” added Matikashvili.

Republican Congressman Joe Wilson has introduced a bill in the U.S. House of Representatives proposing the preparation of a “report on Russian and Chinese intelligence assets in Georgia”. According to information published on the official U.S. Congress website, the purpose of the bill is “to request a report on Russian and Chinese intelligence assets in Georgia, as well as for other related purposes.”
