Mirza Subeliani resigned

Mirza Subeliani, father of one of the teenagers participating in the incident at the school # 51, addresses the chief prosecutor with a statement of resignation.

According to Subveliani, he along with his son, who witnessed the tragic incident at Khorava Street, arrived at the police station on December 1 and expressed readiness to cooperate with the investigation.

Mirza Subeliani expressed condolences to the families of the deceased teenagers and released a statement.

“Despite the fact that my son is a witness in this case I decided to address the Chief Prosecutor of Georgia about my resignation in order not to cast a shadow on the objectivity of the investigation”, – the statement released by Subeliani reads.
