According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, citizens of Georgia, who were not allowed to enter the Republic of Cyprus, do not have all the necessary documents to cross the border.
Georgian Embassy in Cyprus says that the Georgian citizens will be returned to Georgia on May 14.
“The Georgian Embassy in Cyprus was reported that several citizens of Georgia were not allowed to enter the Republic of Cyprus. The Georgian Embassy immediately contacted the local border service.
According to law enforcers, these citizens do not have all the necessary documents to cross the border. They are provided with food and water and they will be returned to Georgia on Tuesday flight,” the Ministry reports.
