Ministry of Education starts reforming the vocational education system

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia starts reforming the vocational education system. Changes are planned in several directions.

According to the Ministry, the Diploma of the Vocational Education will be equal to the full general education school’s diploma. The students of Vocational Education will study all subjects of the general school and they will be able to enter the higher education institutions. This changes will be gradually launched from May.

In addition, persons with full general education (Grade 12) will be able to learn professional programs that will be developed by employers.
