Minister of Internal Affairs equates police uniform with wearing dignity

“The police uniform is not only clothes but means wearing dignity,” said Gela Geladze, Minister of Internal Affairs delivering a speech at the solemn activity on the occasion of Police Day observed on May 31 in Georgia.

According to the Minister, the police are the forces, which counter threats with courage and high professionalism.

“The police uniform is not only clothes, it means wearing dignity. This is the oath not only with words but activity that requires courage, dedication and commitment to serve the country. It is a matter of pride that you walk through this difficult path with dignity and are always where the country and our citizens need you,” he said.
