Vice Prime Minister of Georgia and Minister of Defence, Irakli Chikovani, held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Ali Yousuf Abdulrahman AlMulla. The Minister extended his congratulations on his appointment as Ambassador to Georgia and wished him every success in his diplomatic endeavours.

Irakli Chikovani emphasised the importance of strengthening bilateral ties between Georgia and Qatar, highlighting the value of deepening cooperation between the two nations.

The meeting, hosted at the Ministry of Defence, also discussed the upcoming visit of the Georgian Minister of Defence to Doha, at the invitation of Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Vice Prime Minister of Qatar and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, as well as plans for a meeting with his Qatari counterpart.
